Giant Mobile Tower Crane Lift at Hull Royal Infirmary.

As part of the Hull Royal Infirmary tower façade encapsulation scheme, we have had to call in the services of a giant mobile tower crane all the way from Birmingham to undertake the task of installing the mast climbers to the North elevation of the hospital.

It is one of only 20 cranes of its kind in the UK with a 60 metre reach and extending to 10 storey's above ground level.

With over twenty five lifts planned during the one day lifting operation, the team managed to fabricate, lift and install the seventh mast climber spanning over 45 metres from the base of the crane over the lower buildings at the rear of the hospital.
