We were pleased to once again provide a cabin for officials and timekeepers for The Rotary Club of Hull organisers of this popular event - which due to this year’s torrential downpours at the start proved ‘absolutely invaluable’.
A record number of runners braved torrential rain to take part in the 15th annual Humber Bridge Half Marathon, including Rosie Millard, the chair of Hull’s 2017 City of Culture company, and the event was a huge success and a credit to all involved. This year's charity was the Smile Foundation.
First to cross the finish line was Patrick Gardiner, 31, from Oldham, with a time of 1 hr 13 mins.
The Humber Bridge Half Marathon is a test of stamina and endurance, with one of the world’s most iconic suspension bridges at the heart of the event. With stunning views of the River Humber when crossing the bridge, this run is a must for everyone from serious runners to people wanting to improve their wellbeing and fitness.<< Back to News
