Refurbishment Project of the Old Staff House Building at The University of Hull
Canham Turner Refurbishment Project
Houlton are pleased to announce the continuation of our relationship with the University of Hull. Following the successful handover of Middleton Hall, we have secured the contract for the phase two refurbishment works to be undertaken at Staff House on the main campus.
Working alongside Houlton to deliver the scheme will be Cushman & Wakefield managing the project for the client, structural engineers Mason Clark Associates, Mechanical & Electrical Consultants McWilliam Assoiciates and architects Fuse Studios.
The works scheduled to be undertaken during phase two include kitchen refurbishment, new servery and break out areas, plus the refurbishment of the Lindsey Suite, Myton Hall and the Meaux and Tranby rooms. Commencing in October 2016, the project is due to be complete ahead of summer 2017 to meet key University dates in the spring of 2017.
The remodelling requires the stripping out and enabling works for the Mechanical and Electrical services, new ceilings, partitions, lighting systems, floor finishes and decoration. The project also includes the supply and installation of fixtures, fittings and equipment. All of which will be overseen by the same Houlton team that successfully delivered the Middleton Hall project.
