Council House Thermal Upgrading & Improvement.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council Green Deal Thermal Upgrading & Refurbishment of Council Houses – Beverley Area

This YORbuild project required improvements to approximately 100No. council houses at Beverley in the Schofield Avenue, Warton Avenue, Hotham Square, Routh Avenue and Neville Avenue areas.

Many properties have had 150mm thick external wall insulation and finished render coat added to their solid walls as well as re-roofing works with improved loft insulation and replacement windows and doors.

Following a pre-works condition survey to each property scaffolding was erected to allow both the roofing and the insulation works to be completed in smooth succession. All services needed removing and reconnecting and the roof eaves and verge extending with new fascias, gutters and fallpipes. Also any attached conservatories, etc. needed accommodating in the scheme.
