You'll provide team support, oversee audits, liaise with external professionals, and maintain compliance with SHEQ legislation.

Formal Qualifications and Skills:
NEBOSH General Certificate or an Equivalent Occupational Health and Safety
NEBOSH Construction
CSCS Company Safety Manager
Leadership & Communication
Auditing & Compliance
IT Proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook and Workspace
Strong understanding of ISO accreditations; 9001, 14001 and 45001
In-depth understanding of Construction in general
Excellent knowledge of companies Health & Safety accreditations; Safe Contractors, CHAS, Constructionline
Work Skills:
Provides Leadership and Support to Team Members
Liaises with External Professionals on Joint Initiatives
Monitor and Control Company Business Management Systems
Manage Company Training

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee/Assistant Construction Estimator to join our established commercial team.
Key responsibilities would include:
Assist staff with completing estimates by set deadline and undertake small scale project Estimates independently.
Organise and review project documents.
Prepare quantity take offs.
Obtaining and analysing subcontract and materials quotations.
Identification of commercial opportunity within the project.
Comprehensive handover of estimate files.
Working with other team members to Co-ordinate the bid process.
Potential candidates should ideally possess and demonstrate the following:
A willingness to learn and develop skills.
Good communication skills.
Good time management.
Strong Mathematical skills.
Good attention to detail.
An ability to have a basic understanding of drawings and schedules.
Some experience within the Construction Industry would be beneficial.
Working towards or prepared to undertake a construction based Qualification (support will be offered).
Excellent remuneration based on level of experience.
