Following a successful tender process, East Riding of Yorkshire Council awarded Houlton the contract for the internal refurbishment and remodelling project, which was procured via the YORbuild2 Framework and has now been handed over to the client.

A challenging project was commissioned as part of an ongoing review. ERYC determined that an effective space consolidation  critical to achieving a streamlined service delivery. 

The building is an amalgamation of three historic properties, located within the multi building complex, and which over time, have been linked during a series of adaptations, conversions and development works. The refurbishment project included the provision of a raised access floor, replacing mechanical and electrical services, raising the roofline, new finishes and the supplying a new servery and café along with the creating of an external seating area.
