Hull City Centre Cenotaph Alterations

Houlton met the challenge set by Hull city Council to carry out alterations to its Grade II listed war memorial in order to provide access ramps in time for remembrance Sunday on the 10th November 2019.

The project involved constructing the ramps, casting the retaining walls and cladding them in granite and replacing the paving. This was particularly challenging, not only because of the timescale which meant 7 day working,  but also,  because of the weather as it was 40% rain.
