Refurbishment of former Partnership Learning Centre and construction of 8 new Bungalows

A design and construct project for Preston Road Developments Limited at Hemswell Avenue, Hull.

The development consists of the creation of 12 flats for assisted living by the conversion of the existing former Partnership Learning Centre building and the erection of 8 supported living bungalows for people with learning disabilities.

The aim is to offer nurturing environments for adults with learning disabilities in innovative, high quality housing accommodation designed to enable individuals to live as independently as possible within the community.

The proposals also include ancillary facilities to enable the tenant’s supporters to meet in a communal hub when necessary and external individual gardens and communal garden spaces.

Houlton built the original Partnership Learning Centre & Sports Hall at the then Sir Isaac Newton School back in 2004.
