Kings School, Pontefract

The school had a need to enhance the delivery of their existing vocational courses and to develop personalised learning which required the design and project management by NPS North East Ltd of this new two storey extension attached to the existing Gymnasium.

The project called for the construction of a 2 storey extension to the existing school building at Kings School, Pontefract and minor remodel of the existing facilities. The scheme incorporates external works including some hard paving and associated works to services. Houlton were responsible for design elements for beam and block floor, concrete stairs, timber roof trusses, and lightning protection.
