Microgard Warehouse Extension

Houlton’s Building & Maintenance team were appointed by Microgard Ltd to construct a 450 sq. m. warehouse extension at the rear of their existing bespoke office and warehouse at Priory Park East, Hull that was opened in November 2008.
The award of the £175,000 contract will assist Microgard accommodate their increased business levels and was programmed to take 16 weeks and in addition the existing concrete yard was extended.

Formerly known as Orvec Ltd, Microgard® was one of the World’s first manufacturers of limited life protective workwear. Established in 1975 they have been introducing new technology and designs to the market to improve wearer protection and comfort ever since.

Microgard® products are to protect those working with liquid or solid chemicals, asbestos, paint, oil, grease, viruses and blood borne pathogens, or one of the countless other workplace contaminants in evidence today.
