Houlton has a long standing relationship with Shipham Valves starting from 1958 and were entrusted with the next stage of the re–development of their production site in Hawthorn Avenue, Hull.

The award of the £200,000 project for re-roofing the foundry building involved the removal of the existing roof cladding and modifying the steelwork to reduce the height of the building by 2m. Both the roof and walls are re–clad in modern Kingspan insulated panels with a new concrete floor and access doors.
