KP Snacks - Billingham

Following successful completion of roof infrastructure works to stage one, Houlton again worked closely with the KP Snacks teams to continue the internal updating of their prestigious KP Snacks plant in Teesside.

Works was undertaken to the roof renewal, wall improvements, service rationalisation, mechanical extract, sprinkler protection systems, new lighting, small power and industrial floor finishes continuing into the potato process and packing hall areas of the factory.

The same teams worked together with key subcontract staff to ensure the successful and problem free delivery of Project Spruce as it was named.

The work consisted of major external envelope refurbishment and remodelling to increase the capacity of the process end of the facility and included roof cladding, wall cladding, essential service upgrades, new sprinkler system, new air improvement system, new floors and pedestrian protection works and all during the busy day to day production of the many well known brands.
