The new 8-pitch Goals Soccer Centre at Hull’s Bankside was completed in May 2011. At a cost of £1.6million it will prove small change if a future Lionel Messi learns his skills here!
The project involved the construction of a new depot for the Operational Services Department of East Riding of Yorkshire Council on a vacant brownfield site.
The project works comprised the construction of a new Primary School for East Riding of Yorkshire Council to replace the existing school buildings which, during the later stages of the contract, were demolished once the new School is constructed, commissioned and in use.
The project works were carried out in three phases:- 1) Enabling Works; 2) New School Building; 3) Demolition of existing Junior School and New Build Kitchen, Hall and Plant Room
The project involved the construction of a complete new primary school adjacent the original current Edward Heneage School site, followed by demolition of the existing school building.
