York Asset Maintenance Programme 2011-2012

The Building & Maintenance team has been extremely busy following a successful tender with the YORbuild scheme when Houlton were delighted to be selected as City of York Council’s Asset Maintenance Programme contractor.

This is a two-year contract with the option of extending for a further year. The value of the contract was estimated at £4m over the first two years. Since starting in June 2011, we have completed over twenty projects in primary and secondary schools across the York area with works including re-roofing, window improvements, thermal efficiency improvements, new insulation, new ceilings, electrical works, façade improvements and boiler upgrades.
