Croda Civils, Building and Maintenance Works
Houlton have had a long association with Croda with the earliest records dating back to 1936. We are currently engaged in monthly general maintenance works of roads and buildings, large and small civils works including concrete bund walls, plant & machine bases, tank bases, drainage including surface water channelling.

Replacement Roof Pickering Railway Station
The £556,000 project at the Grade II listed Pickering Railway Station was completed for Easter 2011, despite battling against some of the heaviest snowfall in decades throughout December and January. The newly installed roof replaced platform canopy structures built in 1951 that had replaced the original G T Andrews and Robert Stephenson design from the 1840s and even includes roof tiles from the welsh quarry which provided tiles to the original project.

An extensive refurbishment of an existing shop unit on behalf of prestigious kitchen specialist, Steamer Trading, who recently opened its first northern store in Toll Gavel, Beverley. The substantial renovation and building works on the 600 sq m retail floor area was completed in just five months.

Treasure House - Beverley
The East Riding Treasure House is a multi-disciplinary centre for heritage and information services. It contains the East Riding Archives and Local Studies, Beverley Library, a Museum and Beverley Art Gallery.
