Houlton were one of a number of organisations that supported Humber Teaching Trust CEO Michele Moran's challenge. 

The annual event run by the Apprenticeship Directorate, part of the Department of Education, invites nominations to find the top 100 apprenticeship employers in the country.

Houlton have been nominated in the up coming Hull and East Riding People in Business Awards.

We were asked to assist Croda with works to the environmental and wildlife areas of their site in Hull which covered a variance of works.

We would like welcome our three new work experience placements that will be with us over the next week or so. Alfie Shreeve, Ben Hookem and Sophie Richardson, who are all students at Malet Lambert Secondary School, and all have an interest in construction as a career, will get exposure to all facets of the business from back office to site operations.

Matt is the Site Manager on our Priory Wood Cemetery project we are undertaking for Hull City Council. The scheme involves extensive ground works, the construction of a new building as well as hard and soft landscaping.

We have supported this event for a number of years and continue this year. Robin Forster has again volunteered his time, and we will also be contributing in other ways, such as providing snacks for the participants.

Working with our partners Hull Esteem Consortium LEP Ltd, Hull City Council’s pre-procured framework, we have secured two further school expansion projects in the city.
