Houlton were one of a number of organisations that supported Humber Teaching Trust CEO Michele Moran's challenge. 

This Year Michele undertook her challenge on the 23rd June 2022, which saw her cycle an incredible 85 miles in just one day!

The challenge took place at NHS Trust Headquarters, Willerby and commenced at 7am. The virtual cycle route started at Inspire CAMHS Inpatient unit Hull, continuing to visit each of the Trusts Inpatient mental health units, before finishing virtually at Whitby Hospital.

The event was live streamed in four intervals as Michele completed each leg of her journey. Messages of support were played from patients and staff from each of the units as Michele ‘virtually’ visited each one on route.

Despite the warm weather Michelle completed her challenge and raised a total of £6,030. Healthstars works in partnership with the Trust to enhance the services and environment of users and staff.
