2026 marks an important year of progression and change for Houlton, with a number of key leadership milestones helping to shape the future of the business while recognising the experience and dedication that have supported the company for many years.
In January 2026, Mike Johnson was promoted to Joint Managing Director, working alongside Andrew Kingston as part of a planned leadership transition ahead of Andrew’s retirement in July. The transition provided a valuable opportunity for Mike to work alongside Andrew, gaining from his extensive knowledge, experience, and years of leadership within Houlton.
In May 2026, Dean Burdick was promoted to the role of Operations Director, strengthening Houlton’s senior management team. Dean’s experience, commitment, and understanding of the business will continue to support the successful delivery of our projects and the high standards our clients have come to expect.
Following Andrew Kingston’s retirement in July, Mike Johnson has now taken on the role of Managing Director, leading Houlton into its next chapter.
