The 5th of July 2023 marks 75 years of the National Health Service!

International Women's Day was first celebrated in 1911 by a handful of countries such as Austria and Denmark. It wasn't until 1975 when it became more recognised and celebrated by the United Nations.

We have continued our investment in the business by increasing our fleet and site set up by adding new welfare units. 

Houlton are proud of our long association with the Lifestyle Project, a youth engagement scheme run by Humberside Police. Their recently published  Sponsors Document, highlights this years activity.

All at Houlton were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of John Burgess.

Houlton staff took part in the Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning on the 30th September.

We at Geo Houlton & Sons Ltd mourn the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We were honoured by her presence at the opening of a number of our schemes over the years, such as the opening of the Hull Ice Arena.

Dave Angus and Ian Peatfield the Site Managers on our Esteem projects at Sirius Academy North and Malet Lambert respectively received visits from representatives of the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
