The Houlton team had an amazing evening at The Boardroom on Humber Street on Wednesday, 20th November!

Charlie Mason, one of our Quantity Surveyors, recently completed 50 miles (58 to be exact!) in October to support Prostate Cancer Research! Inspired by a Facebook post, and a personal story from a colleague who experienced Prostate Cancer, Charlie set out to make a difference for this important cause. With cancer affecting so many—including his own family—he’s raised £215 so far and hopes to add more to the total. Every bit helps fund vital research and gives those affected a greater chance at a healthier future. #ProstateCancerResearch

On Friday the 27th of September we held our annual Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. 

After concluding this year’s Annual General Meeting, special recognition for achieving 25 years’ dedicated service was given to Contracts Manager, Andy Sharp and Bricklayer, Mike Taylor for their many loyal years of invaluable contributions to the company. During the subsequent luncheon, Richard Houlton presented Andy with a watch, and Mike received vouchers.

An unforgettable day at Houlton's Summer BBQ! Thank you to Riannon Speechley for organising the event and to Jack Tong for helping set up! A big thank you to all of the companies who made the Summer BBQ a great success. Thanks to Julian from Lovehogroast for the mouth-watering BBQ, DJ Adam Atkinson for the amazing tunes, Bounce About Castles for the fun-filled bouncy castle and giant garden games, Cottingham Castles for the delicious ice cream, Tracey at Face Painting 4 U for the incredible artwork, and Beverley Rugby Club for hosting the perfect venue.

We are proud to continue supporting the Humberside Police Night Challenge, an event fostering community engagement and safety awareness for young people. Alongside supplying lighting and toilet facilities strategically placed along the challenging route, we provided 300 chocolate Mars bars to keep their spirits high. This effort underscores our dedication to the well-being and enjoyment of all involved.
