A significant milestone was reached today with the opening of the Marketing Suite at The Bellows, a 58 dwelling housing project for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council

Counciller Beck, Cabinet Member for Housing officiated proceedings and was joined by representatives from within the council including Anne Marie Lubanski, Strategic Director of Adult Care, Housing & Public Health and assistant Director of Housing, Tom Bell. Also present were representatives from Crucible and South Yorkshire Housing Association as well as Houlton Directors, Andrew Kingston (MD) and Sean Hunter (Construction Director) as well as Contracts Manager Paul Collins, his Site Team and John Bayliss, Business Development Manager.

The scheme will deliver 30 two bedroom houses for shared ownership and a mixture of 28  two bedroom houses and one and two bedroom apartments for Council rent. The project, funded through the Housing Revenue Account and Homes England is part of a wider programme to  build over 500 new houses across the region.
