Thank You to all our Employees
The Directors would like to thank all our employees for their support and patience during these unprecedented times. We appreciate how difficult these past few months have been, and the different challenges lockdown has brought to everybody affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Since 23rd March the majority of our employees have been placed on the government’s job retention scheme, and we are thankful for their support during this furlough period. This has undoubtedly helped the business cope, and we recognise their personal sacrifices during this time. A number of staff and operatives have remained at work throughout the crisis, and we are also grateful to them for their efforts during this extremely difficult period.
Over the coming months, and as lockdown is eased, we are hoping to return operations to as near-normal as is possible. We are pleased to report that business on sites is gradually picking up, and our order book for both Building & Maintenance and Construction is currently healthy. A sizeable group of employees has already returned to work, and our intention is to have all remaining furloughed employees back before the end of the summer.
